Engineering Lead
I build products
and the teams
that build them.
7+ years at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and managing people. I translate complexity into clarity for clients and teams alike.
I came to leadership through engineering,
which means I never forget what it feels like
to be the one writing the code.
I've spent the last few years leading local and international projects end-to-end. From the first whiteboard session with a client to CI/CD pipelines and production deployments. I set up architecture, make technical decisions, keep teams aligned, and make sure everyone — developers, clients, stakeholders — knows what's happening and why.
I work best in environments where I can own the technical direction and contribute to the product vision. I'm comfortable with ambiguity, direct with feedback, and genuinely enjoy helping developers grow.
Based in Slovenia. Working remotely across Europe & US.
Architecture
& Delivery
I own the full technical lifecycle, from system design and stack decisions through deployment and CI/CD. I'm not focused on just delivering features, but building the foundation that makes future work easier.
Team
& Growth
I lead through code reviews and 1:1 mentorship, not just delegation. I've watched junior developers grow into confident engineers and I take that seriously as part of my role.
Stakeholder
Alignment
I translate between business and engineering in both directions. Clients understand what's being built and why. Engineers understand the problem they're solving, not just the ticket they're closing.
Internal Web App
for Municipality Velenje
Delivered of a greenfield internal platform, from scoping sessions with stakeholders through production deployment. Mentored 4 junior developers in the process.
Large-Scale
Sports Data & Analytics Platform
Senior frontend lead on a high-traffic platform. Designed reusable component architecture and modular patterns adopted across the entire codebase.
kind of lead
I teach people how to be present. It turns out
that helps in standups too.
In April 2024 I completed a year-long yoga teacher training and got my yoga teacher license. I've been teaching weekly yoga classes, organising workshops, retreats and holding space for practitioners of different levels ever since. It's not just a side hobby, it's taught me how to read the room, adapt in real time, and build communities where people actually want to show up.
It makes me a better engineering lead.

together.
I'm always open to new projects, where I can own the technical direction and stay hands-on.
